Dr. Rahul Bhowmik is the founder of Polaron Analytics with a corporate vision of facilitating his company to become a leading provider of Research and Development services utilizing data analytics techniques, computer simulation methods, and theoretical approaches. Dr. Bhowmik has worked on several defense contracts for the past 14 years and has more than 16 years of experience in computational modeling and simulations with in-depth expertise in many advanced data analytics techniques. His leadership assisted Polaron Analytics in successfully winning contracts/awards from the Air Force, Space Force, Navy, Department of Energy, and NASA.
Doug Brook is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in business development and operations. With more than 25 years of business experience, nearly 20 in the federal space, he brings specific expertise in business growth, relationship building, and leadership. As an entrepreneur Mr. Brook has owned and operated three software / service delivery companies, and one real-estate company. Mr. Brook is a Project Management Professional and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Wright State University. He has received numerous awards and certifications and currently serves on the advisory board for the Wright State college of Computer Science.
James Gateau brings extensive experience across both government and private sectors, having held pivotal roles in organizations ranging from small businesses to large corporations. He has a proven track record in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities, developing effective strategies to secure federal contracts. James previously worked at Tyto Athene LLC and AT&T, where he successfully managed multi-million-dollar programs. With over two decades of service in the U.S. Navy, James has held several critical leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer, Deputy N6 / Knowledge Manager, Deputy Chief of the CIO Division, and Combat Information Systems Officer, among others.
Dr. Sushant Jha has worked on several Department of Defense programs for the past 18 years; most spent as an on-site contractor in the AFRL. He is currently working as principal materials engineer with the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI). He has more than 18 years of experience in materials fatigue and durability in aerospace applications, probabilistic fatigue life prediction modeling, and data science. His life prediction models have been adopted in several key AFRL-led programs and in the Federal Aviation Administration sponsored code DARWIN. Recently, he has led the efforts to develop methods for additively manufactured parts under the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center programs conducted by UDRI.
Dr. Lokendra Poudel is a research scientist with more than ten years of experience working on several interdisciplinary projects and conducting cutting-edge research. His research spans computational physics, material science, and advanced modeling & simulations, all aimed at untangling intricate phenomena. He also has extensive experience with data-driven decision-making by developing and implementing machine and deep learning algorithms. Academically, Dr. Poudel holds a Ph.D. in Physics, which he earned at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and has held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University and a Postdoctoral Fellow at UConn Health.
Dr. Nhat’s research interests include issues related to numerical optimization applied in machine/deep learning, data science, and decision-making. He is also interested in cybersecurity and cooperative multi-agent systems using instance-based learning and deep reinforcement learning techniques. Dr. Nhat has published over two dozen papers in top conferences and journals in artificial intelligence and applied mathematics, including the International Joint Conference in Artificial Intelligence, the International Conference in Machine Learning, the Journal Machine Learning Research, SIAM Journal on Mathematics of Data Science, and Computational Optimization and Applications.
